Am happy to report that I'm now a first Lieutenant. It took a long time honey, but I finally made it. The order was dated the 28th of Dec. So that made me a Second exactly a year. I'm lucky though to get it when I did. I hope you like the idea, and sure wish I could be there to celebrate with you.

Honey, you'll know I'm writing just as often as I can and if there's time when you don't hear from me you'll know it's just impossible for me to write. I've been sweating out a letter from you for quite a while now and some hope I get one in the next couple of days.

Your pictures are really OK darling, believe you're getting more beautiful every day and can't hardly wait to see and talk to you.

Say, have you got room there in 902 for a 1,000 gal of vino or wine? Maybe it'd fit there next to the big chair. And we could run a small hose just over to the chair.

Tell the gals hello.

All my love

Len
